$4,598,038 in 2011

Following his €1,000,000 paycheck at the Partouche Poker Tour Main Event in Cannes this past week, Sam Trickett has jumped to the top of England’s all-time money list. In doing so he passed Dave Ulliott, the well-known English professional gambler and poker player who goes by the nickname Devilfish.

Sam’s lifetime tournament winnings now total $6,304,096, of which he won $4,598,038 this year. Sam scored two huge cashouts at the Aussie Millions in January, winning the $100,000 Challenge and placing second in the $250,000 Super High Roller.

The all-time money list for England now looks like this:

1st) Sam Trickett, $6,304,098

2nd) Dave Ulliott, $6,006,899

3rd) Roland de Wolfe, $5,330,556

4th) Surinder Sunar, $4,569,126

5th) Ram Vaswani, $3,476,778

Sam’s huge earnings this year also sets him among the top tournament players in the world. The top three finalists at the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event rank high in the top five, but Sam and Erik Seidel, who defeated him in the $250,000 Super High Roller, fill the other two spots.

2011 top money list:

1st) Pius Heinz, $8,823,794

2nd) Erik Seidel, $6,530,154

3rd) Martin Staszko, $5,462,876

4th) Ben Lamb, $5,352,970

5th) Sam Trickett, $ 4,598,038
